Isaac Villanueva to Face Trevin Giles in Legacy FC 59 Main Event
Legacy Fighting Championship 59 will feature a middleweight
clash between veteran Isaac
Villanueva and Trevin
Giles on Sept. 16 at The Arena Theater in Houston.
Giles is unbeaten is six professional bouts, including a trio of triumphs under the Legacy FC banner. Villanueva, who last suffered a loss four years ago to Robert Drysdale, has won four straight bouts, including one over Richard Knepp inside the Bellator cage.
Legacy FC 59 will also feature unbeaten lightweight prospect Jason Langellier as he takes on Ray Blodgett ,while Alex Black will oppose Takayuki Iijima in a featherweight clash. A heavyweight duel between Rashad Coulter and Jeremy Hardy is also scheduled.
Rounding out the main card will be a triplet of bantamweight skirmishes. Cody Williams will lock horns with Domingo Pilarte; Colin Wright will stand opposite Adrian Yanez; and Randy McCullough will tango with Mike Trinh.
The evening’s main card will be televised on AXS-TV beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
