Friday's radio lineup on The Sherdog Radio Network included new
offerings from "The Savage Dog Show" and "Beatdown" radio
programs.
Greg Savage and Jeff Sherwood were back at it Friday with another edition of "The SDS." Joining them were MMA fighters Tim Kennedy and Urijah Faber. Kennedy talked about his recent victory over Melvin Manhoef and his status as a top contender at 185 inside Strikeforce. Meanwhile, Faber joined the show to talk about his upcoming showdown with Eddie Wineland next week in his UFC debut.
Jack and myself took listener calls and emails on this episode of "Beatdown." Joining us was lightweight fighter Tyler Combs. if you remember, Combs was the original opponent for Jorge Gurgel last Saturday night in Columbus on Strikeforce's 'Feijao Vs Hendo' card. Upon withdrawing from the bout Gurgel complained that Combs was faking the injury and didn't want to fight him. The lightweight retorts Gurgel's statements on today's show.
