Every Thursday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen is joined by Sherdog Radio Network Program Director and Invicta FC and Eddie Bravo Invitational play-by-play commentator TJ De Santis.

It's another International Fight Week from the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which this time around means we get “The Ultimate Fighter 25” Finale on Friday night and UFC 213 on Saturday night. However, this pales in comparison to the spectacles of Independence Day weekend cards of years' past, as has been the case with other major, seasonal cards in the Octagon. Breen and De Santis discuss the weakening of these traditions of the UFC schedule, how the company's national and international touring strategies have sped up this process and how the UFC could better serve local audiences with its dates and venues being dictated by big business deals with cities and arena management groups.

Breen and De Santis also discuss how in the face of the UFC's changing complexion, Scott Coker's model for Bellator MMA remains something familiar, a hypothetical, Salt Lake City-centric UFC Fight Night card and give an impromptu ode to Jeremy Horn.
