FightHype.com caught up with UFC President Dana White immediately following Saul “Canelo” Alvarez's 12-round shutout of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. last Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The UFC boss gives his thoughts on Alvarez's domination of Chavez -- “a straight ass whooping” in White's words -- as well as how Alvarez's victory and subsequent booking against Gennady Golovkin in a blockbuster middleweight fight scheduled for Sept. 16 has complicated a proposed Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Conor McGregor fight.
