The Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino remains the site of this long-running regional promotion, and on May 6, 2011, Tachi Palace Fights put together a most memorable event. In the headliner, current UFC flyweight contender Ian McCall took care of Dustin Ortiz on the scorecards; and the card was littered with action from start to finish.

Former and future UFC, Bellator and World Series of Fighting fighters Fabricio Camoes, Chidi Njokuani, Gerald Harris, Cody Gibson and Farkhad Sharipov were all triumphant, along with former Shooto and King of the Cage champion Mamoru Yamaguchi. Others who competed at the event included “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 winner Efrain Escudero, Alan Jouban and Walel Watson, all of whom have plied their trade on much brighter stages. Tachi Palace Fights organizers will be hard-pressed to match the talent level of this show.
