The Matchup: Welterweights collide here, with American Top Team’s Attonito dropping down from 185 pounds and Roberts looking to rebound from a loss in his last outing -- a decision defeat to Claude Patrick at UFC 129.
Roberts could get outwrestled here on size. However, the new weight class and weight cut on Attonito, coupled with Roberts’ superior standup, gives him an edge. He should be able to counter off Attonito’s aggression and land enough strikes to sway the judges.
