By The Numbers: One Championship 157

Petchmorakot Petchyindee retained his One Championship muay Thai featherweight title when he eked out a split decision over Jimmy Vienot in the One Championship 157 headliner on Friday at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Meanwhile, Joseph Lasiri became the third muay Thai strawweight champion in the promotion’s history when he battered Prajanchai P.K.Saenchai into retirement and dethroned the decorated 27-year-old in the co-main event.

In the aftermath of One Championship 157, a by-the-numbers look at the show:

1: Muay Thai featherweight titleholder in One Championship history. Petchyindee remains the only man to sit on the promotion’s 155-pound throne after he took a split verdict from Vienot in the main event. He has held the title for two years, three months, 16 days and counting.

55: Career wins for Lasiri following his upset of P.K.Saenchai for the One Championship muay Thai strawweight crown in the co-headliner. The Frenchman was awarded a technical knockout when his counterpart bowed out after the third round of their pairing at 125 pounds.

2: First-round finishes to Alyse Anderson’s credit after she took care of Asha Roka with a triangle choke 2:04 into their strawweight encounter. She delivered her first stoppage inside Round 1 when she buried Chrissie Daniels with knees and punches at Total Warrior Combat 28 on Nov. 21, 2015.

3: Straight setbacks for Roka since she joined the One Championship roster as an undefeated prospect in 2019. Losses to Nong Stamp and Gina Iniong preceded her defeat to Anderson.

23: Years of age for Nat Jaroonsak. The youngest mixed martial artist on the card, she was born on Feb. 7, 1999 in Bangkok, Thailand.

82: Seconds needed for Jaroonsak to submit Zeba Bano with an armbar in her professional MMA debut. “Wondergirl” made three previous appearances for One Championship under muay Thai rules and went 2-1.

4: Promotions in which Bano has now plied her MMA trade. In addition to her 0-1 mark in One Championship, she has gone 4-0 in the Pro Combat Fight League, 1-0 in Fight of Knights and 1-0 in the Ultimate Fighting League.

938: Days between victories for Elipitua Siregar. “The Magician” put away Robin Catalan with a brabo choke 2:58 into the first round of their flyweight clash, procuring his first win since he submitted Eka Aprilianto with a rear-naked choke at One Championship “Dawn of Valor” on Oct. 25, 2019.

31: Years of age for Catalan. The oldest mixed martial artist on the card, he was born on Aug. 10, 1990 in Santa Barbara, Philippines.

6: Submission losses on the Catalan resume, accounting for 75% of his career total. The Filipino veteran has tapped to three rear-naked chokes, one armbar, one arm-triangle choke and one brabo choke.
