Perhaps the most telling statistic to capture what transpired Down Under is not quantifiable, as it is impossible to truly measure the number of jaws that dropped when Holm ended Rousey’s reign with a high kick and follow-up punches 59 seconds into round two. 38: Significant strikes landed by Holm, the most of any Rousey foe over the course of an 11-bout UFC and Strikeforce tenure. The previous high came when Miesha Tate landed 24 significant strikes in a third-round submission loss to “Rowdy” at UFC 168.
40: Combined significant strikes landed by Rousey’s nine other foes, excluding the Tate clash at UFC 168. That’s just two more than Holm landed at UFC 193.

117: Significant strikes by which Jedrzejczyk outlanded Letourneau. The Polish champion outlanded her foe 19 to 11 in round one, 44 to 25 in round two, 47 to 21 in round three, 53 to 21 in round four and 57 to 25 in round five.
70: Leg kicks landed by Jedrzejczyk, the most in UFC history. The previous record was 68, set by Carlos Condit against Nick Diaz at UFC 143.

179: Difference in total significant strikes landed between Mark Hunt’s and Antonio Silva’s first meeting (200) and their rematch (21) on Saturday night. Hunt and Silva went five hard-fought rounds at UFC Fight Night in Australia in nearly two years ago, while their rematch ended 3:41 into the first round.
1-3: Record for Silva since his memorable draw with Hunt in December 2013. The Brazilian failed a post-fight drug test following the bout and has been unable to use testosterone replacement since that contest.
39: Significant strikes by which Jake Matthews outlanded Akbarh Arreola in the second round of their lightweight encounter. Matthews turned the tables on his foe after a harrowing first frame in which he was knocked down by a head kick.

22: Significant strikes to the legs landed by Richard Walsh in his victory over Steve Kennedy, who landed four. Walsh held a 93-to-38 advantage in significant strikes landed overall.
3: Fighters in UFC history to earn a finish stemming from a spinning back kick to the body after James Moontasri utilized the maneuver to put away short-notice foe Anton Zafir at the 4:36 mark of round one. Dennis Siver (UFC 105) and David Loiseau (UFC 53) are the other two fighters to dispatch foes with spinning back kicks to the body in UFC competition.
2:36: Time of Ben Nguyen’s rear-naked choke submission of Ryan Benoit in the evening’s opening bout. It is the fourth fastest submission in UFC flyweight history.
2: Flyweights with two first-round finishes in UFC competition. Nguyen, who also dispatched Alptekin Ozkilic within a round in May, joins former title challenger Joseph Benavidez as the only flyweights to accomplish the feat.
