Elsewhere, Alexander Volkanovski officially announced himself as a featherweight contender with a clear-cut decision triumph over ex-champ Jose Aldo in a featured bout. Volkanovski has put together one of the top winning streaks in both his division and in the promotion, and he has lost just once in 21 professional appearances overall.

4: Strawweight champions in UFC history. With her victory, Andrade joined Namajunas, Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Carla Esparza as the four women to sit atop the 115-pound throne in the Las Vegas-based promotion.
7: Strawweight wins in UFC competition for Andrade, No. 2 in organization history behind only Joanna Jedrzejczyk (nine). Andrade began her promotional tenure at bantamweight, posting a 4-3 mark before moving down to 115 pounds.
11: Knockouts via slams in UFC competition after Andrade accomplished the feat against Namajunas. It was the first knockout via slam to end a title fight since Matt Hughes finished Carlos Newton in their title bout at UFC 34.
4: Finishes for Andrade at 115 pounds, tying her with Namajunas for the most in the history of the division.
55: Significant strikes landed by Namajunas before the finish. By comparison, Andrade landed 47. Namajunas also landed the only knockdown of the fight. Fifty-four of Namajunas’ 55 significant strikes landed were to the head.
1-6: Official record for Anderson Silva in UFC bouts dating back to July 2013. The longtime former middleweight king had a disappointing night at UFC 237 as he succumbed to leg kicks against Jared Cannonier in the evening’s co-main event. “The Spider’s” lone victory during that time was a contentious verdict over Derek Brunson at UFC 208, while a win over Nick Diaz at UFC 183 was overturned to a no contest due to a failed drug test.
17: Significant strikes landed by Cannonier, 10 of which were leg strikes. Silva, meanwhile, landed eight significant strikes.
5: Consecutive victories for Alexander Volkanovski at 145 pounds following his three-round verdict over former featherweight king Jose Aldo. That ties him with Zabit Magomedsharipov and Arnold Allen for the second-longest winning streak in the division behind only Max Holloway (12).
7: Consecutive UFC triumphs overall for Volkanovski, who has a pair of victories outside of 145 pounds. That ties him with Leon Edwards, Santiago Ponzinibbio and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos for the sixth-longest active winning streak among all fighters in the promotion.
95: Significant strikes landed by Volkanovski. By comparison, Aldo landed just 29. Volkanovski outlanded his opponent 20 to 8 in round one, 39 to 12 in round two and 36 to 9 in round three in a clear-cut decision victory. Only Holloway has accumulated a greater significant strike differential against the legendary Brazilian in UFC competition. Volkanovski also held a 129-to-39 edge in total strikes landed.
50: Significant leg strikes for Volkanovski. Aldo, meanwhile, landed just three.
28: Significant clinch strikes for Volkanovski; Aldo landed three.
3: Consecutive victories for Irene Aldana, tying her with Germaine de Randamie for the third-longest active winning streak in the UFC women’s bantamweight division. Amanda Nunes is No. 1 with seven consecutive wins, while Ketlen Vieira is second with four. Correa defeated former title challenger Bethe Correia by armbar at the 3:24 mark of round three.
52: Significant strikes by which Warlley Alves outlanded Sergio Moraes en route to a knockout victory at the 4:13 mark of the third round of their welterweight bout. That included a 38-to-6 edge in the decisive third stanza.
7: Consecutive losses for B.J. Penn following a defeat to Clay Guida at UFC 237. That puts the former champion in sole possession of the longest losing streak in UFC history.
80: Significant strikes landed by Guida, a UFC/WEC/Strikeforce career high for “The Carpenter.” His previous best of 62 occurred in a loss to Brian Ortega at UFC 199.
313: Significant strikes absorbed by Priscila Cachoeira in three Octagon appearances. Not surprisingly, Cachoeira is 0-3 in those bouts, including a decision loss to Luana Carolina on Saturday in which she was outlanded by a 111-to-69 count. All told, Cachoeira has landed 146 significant strikes in those three defeats.
