The Legacy Fighting Alliance put on a show in front of Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White on Friday in Belton, Texas, giving everyone plenty to cheer about with fun fights and fantastic finishes. LFA 63 featured a veteran who is finally taking it to the next level, an undefeated fighter who lost that shine in the blink of an eye and one of the fastest finishes in the promotion’s history.

NO TECHNICALITIES: LFA 63 featured four clean knockouts, tying LFA 35 for the most KO finishes at a single event in promotional history.

KRANTZ INTO THE LIGHT: By flattening Justin Patterson in the main event and earning a spot on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, Derrick Krantz recorded his 20th finish across 22 victories.

GET IN, GET OUT QUICK: Krantz’s knockout in Round 1 marked his 17th first-round stoppage. He has more first-round stoppages than any other fighter on the card had in total wins.

GOLDEN GABRIEL: Gabriel Silva remained undefeated at 7-0 when he knocked out Jake Heffernan in the first round.

GRINDER NO GRINDING: In losing to Silva by knockout, Heffernan suffered the first defeat of his career. Prior to this loss, only one of his seven career bouts had ended in the first round.

HOLY HAILEY: By putting away Sarah Click with a rear-naked choke in the second round, Hailey Cowan tied Maycee Barber for the most finishes by a female fighter in LFA history with three.

VERRY IMPRESSIVE: Nico Echeverry knocked out Steven Jones with a head kick and follow-up punches at 3:27 of the third round -- the third-latest finish of its kind in LFA history. Meanwhile, half of the head kick knockouts inside the promotion have taken place in the first round.

SHOW US THE PRELIMS: On the untelevised prelims, Michael Murphy starched Phillip Platt with one punch in 18 seconds. In doing so, Murphy picked up the sixth-fastest finish in LFA history, tying him with Tommy Aaron’s one-punch knockout of Austin Wilson at LFA 13.

NOT MILLER TIME: Weighing in 0.8 pounds heavy for his bantamweight contest against Armando Villarreal, this was the second time before an LFA bout that Devin Miller has come in above the agreed-upon weight. He previously missed by 2.2 pounds before a 130-pound catchweight clash against Raul Garcia at LFA 55. He is second fighter in company history to miss weight more than once (Bobby Lee).

THE WEIGHT OF THE MATTER: After Miller suffered a defeat at the hands of Villarreal after missing weight, fighters coming in heavy against opponents that have made weight are 3-12 in their last 15 appearances.

NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN: Coming into LFA 63, Silva had never competed in the United States (six fights), Cameron Graves had never lost on the scorecards (nine fights) and Miller had never been finished (six fights).
