TUF 2 Ratings Grow from Week One

The second episode of Spike TV's "The Ultimate Fighter" pulled a
1.76 rating Monday night, a 2 percent increase over last week's
debut, according to numbers released by Spike TV. Over 2.2 million
viewers tuned-in to watch the first elimination fight of season
two, a good bout that saw Josh Burkman (Pictures) oust Melvin Guillard (Pictures) from the TUF house by unanimous
decision.
No regularly scheduled telecast of TUF 1 had a higher rating (2.75) among males 18-34, a 10 percent increase from the debut of TUF 2 in that all-important demographic, said Spike. The number 25- to 34-year-olds watching Monday increased by 27 percent, landing an impressive 3.71 rating.
