The Insane Prop Bets of UFC on Fox 31

UFC on Fox “Lee vs. Iaquinta 2” featured a number of upsets on Saturday in Milwaukee, and anytime that situation arises, a number of crazy prop bets are likely to score. Such was the case at the Fiserv Forum. Here are the five most insane prop bets to cash out at UFC on Fox 31:

Al Iaquinta Wins by Decision (+750)

Always known for fighting with a chip on his shoulder, Iaquinta picked up a huge win that shot him up the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s lightweight ladder, as he took a unanimous decision from Kevin Lee in the main event. “Ragin’ Al” used his wrestling in reverse, managed to thwart Lee’s takedown attempts, kept the fight on the fight and edged “The Motown Phenom” in the striking exchanges. The prop on Iaquinta to win on points cashed out at a hearty +750.

Edson Barboza Wins in Round 3 (+1600)

It was a muay Thai clinic in the co-main event, as Barboza bruised and battered Dan Hooker on his way to a third-round knockout. Barboza has always been known for his vicious kicking game, but we had not seen much of it in his last few fights. Here, he reminded fans and media why he ranks as one of the best kickers the sport has ever seen, as he unloaded everything he could on Hooker. The Kiwi absorbed an inhuman amount of punishment before collapsing in the third round on the end of a left hook to the liver. The prop on Barboza winning by knockout hit at a nice +400, but even more profitable was the prop on his winning in the third round, which hit at +1600.

Joaquim Silva Wins in Round 3 (+1275)

Being down two rounds to none did nothing to shake Silva, who stormed back to defeat Jared Gordon via third-round knockout in one of the most exciting fights of the night. Silva had previously shown knockout power in the UFC with his 34-second stoppage Andrew Holbrook in 2016, but all of his other fights inside the Octagon had gone to decision. Against Gordon, he reminded onlookers that he still possesses some serious knockout power and picked up a brutal finish in a “Fight of the Night”-winning performance. The prop on Silva winning in the third round hit at +1275.

Jack Hermansson Wins by Submission (+840)

One of the most impressive performances on the whole card belonged to Hermansson. The Swede took on Gerald Meerschaert in a bout many had pegged for its upset potential. However, Hermansson controlled Meerschaert with a heavy top game before finding himself on the bottom -- a position from which he latched a tight guillotine choke and executed the first-round submission. The prop on Hermansson winning in the first stanza hit at +400, but the biggest prop to cash was his winning by submission, which cashed at +840.

Juan Adams Wins in Round 3 (+950)

In a preliminary heavyweight pairing, Juan Adams picked up a third-round technical knockout win over Chris de la Rocha in his UFC debut. Like many low-level heavyweight fights, this match can only be described as ugly, as both men were breathing heavily and neither man had much gas in the tank by the time the fight hit the third round. Credit to Adams, who managed to find his second wind late in the fight and throw enough hands at de la Rocha to force the referee to stop the fight. The prop on Adams to win in the third round hit at +950.
