The Walkmen: All UFC 242 Walkout Tracks

The ordering process for Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-views has changed: UFC 242 is only available on ESPN+ in the U.S.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Abu Dhabi on Saturday as the promotion took over Du Arena for UFC 242. Headlining the marquee was the lightweight world championship between the division’s king Khabib Nurmagomedov and challenger Dustin Poirier. The fighters certainly didn’t disappoint, both inside the Octagon and with their walkout music.

“The Eagle” strolled out confidently to the cage to defend his 155-pound crown to Sabine Kors’ “Dagestan” anthem, paying tribute to his country. Poirier didn’t live up to his family name by going with either King Diamond or Neil Diamond; rather, he opted to use “The Boss” by the late, great James Brown.

Other standout tracks of the night were the “Mortal Kombat Theme Song” from heavyweight contender Curtis Blaydes; Eurythmics’ excellent “Sweet Dreams” (Diego Ferreira); Matthew Wilder’s catchy “Break My Stride” (Joanna Calderwood); and Lerone Murphy went with the classic “Ambitionz as a Ridah” from hip-hop legend 2Pac.
