Who You Got? Sherdog Staff Pick 'Em: UFC 239

Welcome back to the Sherdog staff Pick 'Em League, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship heads home to Las Vegas for International Fight Week and a loaded UFC 239 card featuring two title bouts at the top.

Before we touch on this week's card, two quick items of housekeeping. First, congratulations to forum moderator Madmick, who was the only one to pick all six main card fights from UFC Minneapolis correctly. He gets a Lone Ranger Award from the league, and presumably a more comfortable seat at the Hive Mind table. Second, let's all take a moment to mock Patrick Auger for being the only picker to call for Marco Polo Reyes to beat Drew Dober last weekend. Auger is currently in Las Vegas for UFC 239, and it's entirely possible the earthquakes going on there are somehow his fault.

As for UFC 239, the aforementioned loaded card is loaded with many things, but close picks are not one of them. Of the five main-card fights, only Jorge Masvidal vs. Ben Askren is even remotely tight. It is also a rare case of the Pick 'Em majority going with the betting underdog, in this case "Gamebred." Only time will tell if Masvidal ends up being the "Jose Aldo over Renato Carneiro" type of underdog pick for us, or the "Ovince St. Preux over Nikita Krylov" type.
