(PRESS RELEASE) -- Sao Paulo Brazil – XFC International returns to
Sao Paulo, Brazil with the XFCi 4 Semi-finals. Athletes in the
men’s Lightweight, Featherweight, Middleweight and Welterweight
division will face each other in the Semi-finals in the fourth
installment of the XFC International Latin American tournament.
XFC International President Myron Molotky commented “We are one step closer to the finals and seeing the rise of new champions in XFCi 4 with the men’s semifinals. We have witnessed wars inside the XFC Hexagon to advance to this point…we expect even more with so much on the line in XFCi 4.”
The Main Event Super Fight features USA vs. Brazil, when American
XFC contender Waylon Lowe
(14-5) steps into the XFC Hexagon against veteran Marcos
Rodrigues dos Santos (21-11) from Brazil in a three round,
featherweight bout when XFC International returns to Live TV on
REDETV. This is Waylon
Lowe’s first fight in Brazil and his debut with XFC
International, while the versatile dos Santos comes to XFCi4 with a
14 fight winning streak. In the Co-Main Event, XFC women
contenders, Brazilian Kalindra
Faria (14-3), and Serbian Sanja
Sucevic (4-2) face off for a critical battle for domination in
the XFCi Super Fight Strawweight division.
The main card also features Argentine hero Bruno Canetti facing off against Costa Rica’s Alejandro Villalobos in a contest of up-and-coming Lightweights. This is Canetti’s first fight since his XFCi 2 upset win over Luan Gazetta. Also, the main card will feature country rival’s Argentina vs. Brazil as Kevin Medinilla from Argentina will be looking to advance past Brazil’s Pedro Junior. The winners from the main card will move forward to men’s finals scheduled for June 2014.

XFCI 4 will take place live from Sao Paulo Brazil, on April 26, 2014 at 00:30am Brasilia time/ 11:30pm Eastern Standard time on REDE TV.
