XFCi 8: Season II Tournaments Continue Dec. 13th

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Campinas, Brazil: The XFC is set to return to
you live from Campinas, SP Brazil on Saturday, December 13th, 2014.
The Season II Tournament series will continue with the start of the
Men's Featherweight and Lightweight division quarterfinals, along
with the Women’s Flyweight Semifinals.
The XFCi 8 fight card will host 13 fights, featuring 12 nations of Next Generation fighters beginning at 9:00 p.m BR with tickets for the event on sale now through Ticket360 at XFCMMA.com/tickets. The event will broadcast live to the World at 9:30 p.m EST/ 0:30 BR via Rede TV! with a free live stream offered on the promotions website. Headlining the card will be three Superfights in the same weight classes of the Season II Tournament earlier in the evening.
Women’s Flyweight Semifinals:
Taila Santos (4-0) BR vs. Poliana Botelho (3-1) BR
All four fighters remaining in the Women’s Flyweight Tournament are ready to take the next step in their career in the Season II Tournament Semifinals. After their opening round bouts back at XFCi6, all four fighters earned victory's within the HeXagon and secured their place in XFCi 8. With four Brazilians competing for their chance at the tournament gold medal in the Finals, the XFC and its fans may not be able to handle the anticipation any longer, thankfully December 13th will be the day.

The Season II Lightweight and Featherweight Quarterfinals are set to kick off at XFCi 8. A group of highly talented, skilled, and seasoned fighters will enter the HeXagon on December 13th, to earn a victory and secure a spot in a semifinal bout.
Although only 1 fighter from each bracket can be crowned champion, the will and determination of each fighter will be showcased for all to see and this will give them the opportunity to continue within the organization. The will of a fighter is their truth and this competition is driven by that truth. The Next Generation of Fighters are coming and more than 1 future World Champion within these brackets, but only one will be crowned Tournament Champion in each weight class and advance into the Superfight series.
