Elsewhere, Valentina Shevchenko authored a “Knockout of the Year” contender in the co-main event, finishing Jessica Eye with a vicious head kick in the second stanza to retain her flyweight crown. “Bullet” continues to look like a champion who could be primed for an extended reign.

5: Undisputed UFC bantamweight champions. Cejudo joins Dominick Cruz, Renan Barao, Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt as the only men to hold 135-pound gold in the Las Vegas-based promotion.
4: Fighters to simultaneously hold titles in two weight classes. Cejudo, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes and Conor McGregor are the only champ champs in UFC history. All have accomplished the feat since 2016.
16: Significant strikes landed by Moraes in the opening round, a figure that included nine significant leg strikes. By comparison, Cejudo landed just five.
85: Combined significant strikes landed by Cejudo in rounds two and three combined, when he pushed the pace and had Moraes reeling en route to a TKO finish. By comparison, Moraes landed 41 combined significant strikes in those two frames.
6: Knockouts stemming from a head kick in UFC championship history. With her brutal knockout of Eye, Shevchenko joins Anderson Silva, Renan Barao, Holly Holm, Georges St. Pierre and Dillashaw as the only fighters to win a title bout with that maneuver.
14: Career wins for Tony Ferguson, tying him for the fourth-most in the history of the UFC’s lightweight division. “El Cucuy” defeated Donald Cerrone via second-round TKO in a featured 155-pound contest on Saturday. Only Jim Miller (18), Cerrone (17) and Gleison Tibau (16) have more lightweight victories in UFC competition.
12: Consecutive victories for Ferguson, the sixth-longest winning streak in promotion history. Ferguson needs one more victory to tie Max Holloway, Johnson, Jon Jones and St. Pierre for second place.
10: Finishes in UFC competition for Ferguson, tying him with Cerrone for the third-most in the history of the division. Only Joe Lauzon (12) and Miller (11) have more.
104: Significant strikes landed by Ferguson. By comparison, Cerrone landed 68 in the 10-minute affair, which was called after Cerrone’s eye swelled grotesquely before the third frame. Ferguson outlanded his opponent 52 to 38 in round one and 52 to 30 in round two.
5: Consecutive wins for Petr Yan, who took a hard-fought three-round verdict over Jimmie Rivera in a featured bantamweight affair. That is the longest active winning streak in the division.
73: Significant strikes landed by Rivera. By comparison, Yan landed 56.
2: Knockdowns landed by Yan, who floored his opponent in the first and second frames.
5: Consecutive victories for Tatiana Suarez, who ended the four-bout winning streak of Nina Ansaroff in a featured women’s strawweight contest. That’s the longest active winning streak in the division.
30: Significant strikes landed by Ansaroff in the third round against Suarez. That one-round total is more than Suarez’s last four opponents have landed combined (26).
4: Takedowns landed in 13 attempts for Suarez. The 28-year-old landed two takedowns apiece in rounds one and two, but was thwarted on all four of her attempts in the third frame.
22: Takedowns landed by Suarez in five career appearances.
174: Significant strikes landed by Aljamain Sterling in a unanimous decision triumph over fellow bantamweight contender Pedro Munhoz. That’s a UFC/WEC record for a bantamweight fight, surpassing the previous mark of 152 landed by Takeya Mizugaki against Nam Phan at UFC Fight Night 33 in December 2013. Sterling outlanded his foe 48 to 27 in round one, 62 to 41 in round two and 64 to 37 in round three.

0: Takedowns landed in seven attempts by Sterling, the fourth time in his UFC career that has happened. The Serra-Longo Fight Team representative is 2-2 in those bouts, with wins over Munhoz and Rivera and losses against Moraes and Raphael Assuncao.
4: Consecutive victories for Sterling, the second-longest winning streak in the UFC’s bantamweight division.
148: Significant strikes landed by Alexa Grasso in a decision victory against former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz. That is the second-highest total in a three-round strawweight bout in UFC history. Xiaonan Yan holds the record with 150 against Syuri Kondo at UFC Fight Night 141. By comparison, Kowalkiewicz landed 90 significant strikes.
4: Consecutive victories for Xiaonan Yan, which ties her for the second-longest active winning streak in the UFC’s strawweight division. All four of those triumphs have come via unanimous decision, including her triumph over Angela Hill on Saturday.
100: Percent takedown defense rate for Darren Stewart in a three-round verdict over Bevon Lewis at middleweight. Stewart defended all five of his opponent’s takedown attempts, a marked improvement from his last bout when he was taken down eight times in a split-decision loss to Edmen Shahbazyan at “The Ultimate Fighter 28” finale.
11: Bantamweight victories in UFC/WEC competition for Eddie Wineland, who scored a second-round technical knockout against Grigory Popov in a preliminary contest. That ties him with Urijah Faber and Assuncao for the third-most wins of the combined history of the two promotions.
8: KO/TKO triumphs in UFC/WEC competition for Wineland. With his stoppage of Popov, Wineland surpassed Dillashaw for sole possession of first place in this category. Wineland also tied Dillashaw and Rani Yahya for most finishes in UFC/WEC history with eight.
3: UFC flyweight victories for Katlyn Chookagian, tying her for the most in the history of the young division. Chookagian captured a competitive unanimous decision triumph over Joanne Calderwood in a preliminary 125-pound affair.
69: Significant leg strikes landed by Calderwood, a record for a three-round bout in UFC competition. It also ties Carlos Condit (UFC 143) for third most ever landed in a UFC bout, regardless of length. By comparison, Chookagian landed 12 significant leg strikes.
50: Significant head strikes by Chookagian. Calderwood, meanwhile, landed 24.
1,818: Total significant strikes landed at UFC 238. That’s a new event record for the promotion. The previous best of 1,674 occurred at UFC 231, a card that was headlined by Max Holloway’s successful featherweight title defense against Brian Ortega.
5: Female bouts on the UFC 238 bill. That’s the most for a card held by the Las Vegas-based promotion, with the exception of “The Ultimate Fighter 20” finale (eight) and the “TUF 26” finale (seven).
