After an eight-bout stint at welterweight, Rafael dos Anjos is back in business at 155 pounds.

In his first lightweight bout since 2016, dos Anjos was in prime form in the UFC Fight Night 182 headliner, as he captured a split-decision triumph over Paul Felder at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Dos Anjos’ wrestling and grappling were the keys to his victory, and the former 155-pound king was in control for most of the contest despite one judge submitting a perplexing 48-47 scorecard in favor of Felder. Here is a by-the-numbers look at UFC Fight Night 182, with statistics courtesy of UFCStats.com.

15: Lightweight triumphs for dos Anjos, tying him with Joe Lauzon and Francisco Trinaldo for the fourth most in UFC history. Only Jim Miller (19), Donald Cerrone (17) and Gleison Tibau (16) have won more at 155 pounds.

7:08:11: Total Octagon time for dos Anjos, No. 2 in UFC history behind only Frankie Edgar (7:40:51). Dos Anjos and Edgar are the only fighters to have accumulated more than seven hours of fight time in UFC history.

2,149: Total strikes landed in UFC competition by dos Anjos. The 36-year-old Brazilian landed 155 total strikes against Felder to move past Darren Elkins (2,032) and into sixth place on the promotion’s all-time list.

6: Takedowns landed in 22 attempts by dos Anjos. The ex-champ took Felder down in every frame but the fourth en route to 14:15 of control time.

98: Significant strikes landed by Felder. Dos Anjos, meanwhile, landed 92.

1,792: Days since dos Anjos last lightweight victory, a 66-second TKO of Donald Cerrone in a title defense at UFC on Fox 17 on Dec. 19, 2015.

5: UFC welterweights to earn two or more knockout victories in less than a minute. With his 30-second KO of Abdul Razak Alhassan in Saturday’s co-main event, Kalinn Williams joined Anthony Johnson, Erick Silva, Johny Hendricks and Alhassan as the only 170-pound fighters to accomplish the feat.

57: Total Octagon time, in seconds, for Williams, who vanquished Alex Morono in 27 seconds in his promotional debut at UFC 247.

151: Total strikes landed by Ashley Yoder in a three-round verdict against Miranda Granger at strawweight. Yoder also was successful on two of four takedowns, attempted three submissions and maintained 8:19 of control time in her third UFC triumph.

14: Days between wins for Sean Strickland, who earned a second-round technical knockout of Brendan Allen in a 195-pound catchweight encounter on the main card. Two weeks prior, Strickland outpointed Jack Marshman at UFC Fight Night 181 on Oct. 31. That ties him with Chris Leben for the third fewest days between UFC victories in promotion history. Khamzhat Chimaev set the record earlier this year when he finished John Phillips and Rhys McKee within a 10-day span on Fight Island.

43: Significant strikes by which Strickland outlanded Allen. Strickland outlanded his adversary 56 to 31 in Round 1 and 38 to 20 in Round 2 prior to the stoppage.

90: Significant head strikes landed by Strickland, who landed 94 total. By comparison, Allen landed just 28 significant strikes to the head of his opponent.

14: Unofficial media scorecards, of the 16 tracked by MMADecisions.com, that awarded the strawweight clash between Kay Hansen and Cory McKenna to Hansen. However, all three cageside judges — Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato and Chris Lee — submitted 29-28 tallies in favor of McKenna.

156: Total strikes landed by McKenna. By comparison, Hansen landed 87 total strikes. Hansen did hold a 67-to-57 edge in significant strikes and landed the only two takedowns of the bout.

16: Strawweight fights in the UFC for Randa Markos, tying her with Angela Hill for the most in the history of the division. Her latest appearance didn’t go so well, as she dropped a clear-cut decision to Kanako Murata in a preliminary affair.

7: Takedowns landed in 17 attempts by Contender Series alum Tony Gravely in a split-decision triumph over Geraldo de Freitas at bantamweight. Gravely also enjoyed 9:55 of control time in the bout but was outlanded by a 76-to-49 count in significant strikes.

300: Combined significant strikes landed by Alex Morono (176) and Rhys McKee (124) in their preliminary welterweight scrap, the third most ever for a three-round fight at 170 pounds. Morono outlanded his opponent 61 to 39 in Round 1, 68 to 51 in Round 2 and 47 to 34 in Round 3 en route to a unanimous decision triumph.
