David Teymur Welcomes Newcomer Don Madge to Octagon at UFC Fight Night Liverpool

David Teymur will go for his fifth straight Octagon triumph when he faces promotional newcomer Don Madge at UFC Fight Night 130 in Liverpool, England.

Promotion officials announced the lightweight matchup on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night 130 takes place at Echo Arena on May 27 and is headlined by a welterweight showdown between Darren Till and Stephen Thompson. The card airs on Fox Sports 1 following prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Teymur notched his fourth consecutive promotional victory with a decision over Drakkar Klose at UFC 218. The 28-year-old also owns wins over Lando Vannata, Jason Novelli and Martin Svensson in UFC competition. He is 7-1 as a professional overall.

Madge, who hails from Cape Town, South Africa, will enter his first Octagon foray on a four-bout winning streak. “Magic Man” last appeared at Extreme Fighting Championship 58 on April 8, when he earned a second-round submission of Dave Mazany in the card’s headliner. Madge owns a 7-3-1 career mark, with all of his wins coming inside the distance.
