(PRESS RELEASE) -- V3Fights is primed to kick off 2015 with a bang
when the promotion announced that they will be heading back to
Minglewood Hall on January 24, 2015. This stacked card will feature
two of the top lightweights in the region when Wade
Johnson (7-1) takes on Drew
Kennedy (5-1) in the main event. At the end of the night, only
one will be able to call himself the true “Hammer” of MMA.
Also on the card is the return of Ryan Collins as he takes on former champion, Jesse Sanderson, who will be making his professional debut. Both of these fighters experienced a ton of success as amateurs and are looking to continue that success in the V3 cage as professionals. Jaleel Willis will be fighting his first fight of his new multiple fight deal against Anthony Lemon. The last time the Legion saw Willis in the V3 cage, he put on a dominant performance with a first round win while Lemon fought a three round war that was nominated for “Fight of the Year.”
The Women’s Bantamweight Title will be on the line when champion,
Amberlynn
Orr, takes on Alyssa
Vasquez. Several other top-notch fighters, both locally and
regionally, will be featured on the card as well.
