V3FIGHTS WELCOMES THE WOMEN’S BANTAMWEIGHT DIVISION TO THE PROMOTION

(PRESS RELEASE) -- On February 16 in Nashville, TN, V3Fights will
introduce the Women’s Bantamweight Division when Molly
Dupertuis (2-1) squares off against Shanna Young (2-0). Both
fighters come into this fight with a great deal of hype and
momentum and are ready to put on a great show in “Music City.”
Dupertuis is a well-rounded fighter but is known more for her
striking. Young is also well-rounded and her strengths lie more in
her wrestling and jiu-jitsu. So whether this fight stays standing
or goes to the ground, it should be very technical.
Both fighters spoke about their upcoming fight:

“She is a tough girl from a good school. I really don’t know too much about her. I’m just continuing my normal training. Wherever the fight goes, I will be comfortable. All of my arts have pretty much evened out, so even though I’m a striker, I can still handle myself pretty well on the ground. Some people overlook me and think I’m a pretty face or a model, but I’m the furthest thing from it and I plan on showing everyone what I am capable of. Shanna seems like a great girl and doesn’t trash talk and I really think that is amazing, but when we are in there, it’s business. Hopefully after this we can get some cross training in together at one of our gyms.”
“Molly is a popular fighter. She must be pretty good because everyone seems to know who she is. At the same time, I think people are picking Molly for this fight because it’s going down in her neck of the woods. They haven’t seen Shanna Young yet! SSF seems like a well revered gym, but I’d put TOT up against them any day!”
