WMMA MASTERMIND GINA BEGLEY MAKES HER V3FIGHTS’ DEBUT

(PRESS RELEASE) -- On November 23, the main event will not be the
only bout that features some of the top WMMA talent in the
mid-south area. On this very same card, WMMA fighter, radio host,
and MMA journalist, Gina Begley,
will be making her V3Fights’ debut.
Begley was voted one of the top twenty-five most influential people in the world for the sport of WMMA. On Mondays, she can be heard on the ProWMMA Now radio show, which she hosts on the ProMMA Now Network. She can also be found on www.BluegrassMMA.com covering several shows as a journalist and/or photographer. But on November 23, she steps in the cage as a competitor against a very tough opponent in Alyssa Vasquez.
Begley hails from Richmond, KY and is currently 2-2 in Muay Thai
and 4-2 in MMA. She trains at the ASF Academy, which is a 10th
Planet jiu-jitsu school where she is a blue belt and also an
Apprentice Instructor for the Thai Boxing Association of the USA.
She got started in combat sports as a form of exercise, but then
began competing to test her ability to use her technical skills in
competitive situations. She started out competing in BJJ
tournaments and worked her way up to kickboxing matches and then
eventually MMA. To this day, she is still active in all three.
When asked about her upcoming bout against Alyssa Vasquez, here is what Begley had to say: “I have trained with Alyssa. I know she has experience in kickboxing and MMA. She is eager to learn and enjoys fighting. She is tough, but I believe I will be able to finish the fight with a submission and feel I have the advantage no matter where the fight goes.”
