By The Numbers: Dustin Jacoby vs. Khalil Rountree

Ultimate Fighting Championship matchmakers undoubtedly envisioned a striker’s delight when they decided to pit Dustin Jacoby and Khalil Rountree against one another.

The battle-hardened light heavyweights will lock horns in a featured UFC Fight Night 213 attraction on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Jacoby ventures into his latest assignment on the back of a nine-fight unbeaten streak that has seen him compile an 8-0-1 record. The Factory X representative last appeared at UFC on ABC 3, where he knocked out Da Un Jung in the first round of their July 16 encounter. Rountree, meanwhile, has rattled off two straight victories. “The Ultimate Fighter 23” finalist last competed on March 12, when he cut down Karl Roberson with a body kick and follow-up punches in the second round of their UFC Fight Night 203 confrontation.

As Jacoby and Rountree pore over the remaining details associated with their forthcoming clash at 205 pounds, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

34: Years of age for Jacoby, who was born on April 4, 1988 in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
